bunting project at The Public

Beth White, of Lov Li has been busy working on a project to create a length of bunting which will be hung in The Public Gallery, West Brom. She has got a massive array of artists and designers involved in the project-each artist creating an individual section of bunting. Watch this space for more details later this week and to hear when the bunting exhibition will run....

things we're loving this Friday the 13th.....

This week Lov Li are just loving the work of designer, artist, maker  Lou Roter

Reflecting her passion for the natural world and deep-seated recycling ethic, Lou’s eclectic range uses collage and decoupage and both homemade and vintage decals to transform unloved objects into highly desirable home-wares.

 

Whether it’s vintage bone china or a battered French desk, a salvaged polypropylene stacking chair or a 1960s mirror, each of her witty transformations is unique... Stag beetles march across a faded chintz tea plate… Jaded chairs are overgrown with roses, nettles and thorns… Translucent black butterflies flit over foxed glass…

No- not everyones fave time of year and it is only August! However here at Lov Li we have already been taking orders for our Christmas 2010 cards. Our Lov Li range can be seen below aswell as 2 gorgeous brand new Christmas ranges which we plan to reveal very soon on here, so watch this space.

Infact the designing process of Christmas,Valentines,Mothers Day etc cards happens a full year in advance, so we are already thinking of ideas for Christmas 2011 !!
